Drama Classes

We are proud to follow the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) syllabus for various genres of Drama, alongside free work in classes to support the technical, theoretical and artistic parts of Drama. These classes are excellent for building a young person’s confidence in a safe and welcoming environment. Drama classes also support development of excellent speech and presentation.

  • Mini & Junior Drama Classes

    Introductory & Entry Grades
    We offer fun and engaging weekly classes in Drama from as young as 5 years. These classes explore the children’s imagination, and new ways to communicate through voice and movement, whilst beginning to learn the basic techniques of Drama.
    At these younger ages, children have the opportunity to work towards LAMDA’s Introductory syllabus, a welcoming and exciting introductory to exams, through poetry performance and discussions geared towards the children’s likes and interests.

  • Intermediate Drama Classes

    Grade 1 to 4
    Our Intermediate level Drama classes begin to explore genres of Drama in more depth. Subjects include improvisation, mime, devising, physical theatre and much more. Each term these classes will learn and develop new skills in a genre to help build into a well-rounded actor.

    The LAMDA syllabus we follow from Grade 1 onwards offers students the opportunity to take exams in the following subjects: Acting, Devising Drama, Miming, Speaking Verse & Prose and Shakespeare.

  • Senior Drama Classes

    Grade 5 to 8 & Diploma
    Our Senior level Drama classes work to a very high standard of creative and technical work. These fun yet challenging classes give students the opportunity to learn methods and techniques currently at practice in the industry. Students partake in a plethora of engaging and educational topics and projects to become not only strong actors, but playwrights, directors, devisers and more.
    The higher LAMDA Grades begin to award UCAS points from Grade 6, and are an excellent asset to any young person, developing skills in communication, confidence, creativity and performance.
