Graham School of Dance regularly runs Holiday Workshops for many age groups, and pupils may bring along their friends - they do not have to be learning at the dance school. The youngest groups age 4 - 6 take part in workshops which include Musical

Theatre, Drama, Singing and Street Dance. Middle School and Seniors are offered a variety of Workshops and Masterclasses, taken by  invited Guest Teachers such as current  West End performers and/or leading Dance teachers  (including those currently teaching at Dance Colleges) - they offer classes in  Commercial Jazz, Funky Jazz, Musical Theatre, Audition technique and preparation as well as Q and A sessions. Other Guest teachers  include teachers from  TK Spin,  renowned  for their Street Dance technique classes, and Contemporary Dance Workshops by Richard Alston and Siobhan Davies Dance companies.

Our summer and holiday schemes are great fun! They introduce pupils to different dance genres and girls and boys are welcome. For the summer and holiday schemes for children age 7 and above, attendees ideally take some Dance / Drama / Musical Theatre classes regularly, but do not have to be taking classes at Graham School of Dance to be able to come along and have fun - just contact us to become registered.

As well as dance, pupils have the opportunity to become involved in different elements of the Performing Arts too, such as Drama and Musical Theatre, which are new to some of them. They also keep fit and indeed as Graham School of Dance Summer and holiday schemes are generally towards the end of the school Summer holidays, they also help prepare students for the new term ahead.

Our summer and holiday schemes are held in Bishop’s Stortford, and pupils from age 7 upwards gain enormous enjoyment from taking part in the 3 day course, with younger children having a half day session.

As well as Musical Theatre and Drama and Jazz, new dance genres such as Irish and Spanish Dance, along with Contemporary for Senior Students, may be on offer – each time it is different!.

Summer and holiday schemes are taught by Graham School of Dance teachers and renowned professionals and specialists, both locally based and from vocational Colleges; attendees present their work in an informal showing to their parents at the end of the 3 day summer and holiday scheme.
