THE LAUGHTER SPECIALISTS
In September 2009, Graham School of Dance dancers are delighted to perform at the Charity Ball being organised by The Laughter Specialists, who visit hospices, special needs centres, hospitals and other caring situations, bringing a world of colour, music, magic and laughter.. Dancers will perform group and solo pieces in support of this Charity at The Barn Theatre, Little Easton Manor. Money raised is funding visits to Broomfield Hospital, Chelmsford, Edith Borthwick School, Bocking, and other special needs groups in Saffron Walden.
MASQUERADE BALL
In December 2008, 14 dancers performed specially choreographed routines as well as solos and duets at a the wonderful Masquerade Ball, in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society, held at the Stansted Manor Hotel.
This was organised by Graham School of Dance teacher Louise Fisher who worked closely with the main Ball organiser Emma from Bespoke Designs. |
AFRICAN EVENING AT RHODES
Graham School of Dance was delighted to support the Rhodes Arts Complex and Andy Graham’s “The Longest Story in the World” ….going to Africa? project in May 2008, by performing at their fund raising Charity Gala Concert. Proceeds enabled teachers to be trained and creative projects to be set up in both Gambia and Rwanda.
