“Two girls from the Bishop's Stortford-based Graham School of Dance have won places in the UK's top modern theatre dance competition.

Jessica Oakman, 10, and Charlotte Perry, 13, will compete in the finals of the Janet Cram Awards, which will be held in central London at the end of this month.”

NB: Jessica and Charlotte have just  won places, in May  for the 2009 Janet Cram finals too!

 “Seven girls from the Graham School of Dance performed for royalty when they joined the National Youth Ballet of Great Britain at a gala dinner hosted by the Duke of Kent. Emily Lewis, Demi Aldred, Ellen Frost, Charlotte Perry, Fae Crossley, Emilie Chard and Sophie Ingles, all aged eight to 13, performed routines inspired by cultures from around the world at the event at The Guildhall in central London earlier this month.”

Pupil Emma Davies not only appeared on MTV & ITV & in Emma Bunton’s dance team, but danced in the film ‘Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire, in 2005, made it through to the TV stages of ‘Let Me Entertain You’, and most recently made the final 10 in the reality TV series ‘Dirty Dancing’
